Originally from Lithuania, Emilė laid her musical foundations with a Bachelor’s degree in classical singing and music pedagogy at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, studying under Prof. Regina Maciūtė. She went on to deepen her expertise in early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, where she completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees under the guidance of Prof. Rosa Dominguez and Ulrike Hofbauer. Currently, she is pursuing the innovative master’s program Musik und Szene in Transformation at the Basel Music Academy. A prizewinner of the 2023 Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci competition with the Orpheus Ensemble Basel, Emilė has performed across Europe in operas, concerts, and multidisciplinary productions.
